We're getting married on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka, the week of Monday 27 September 2027. Three days of celebrating.

We know international travel takes some organising, so we're giving you as much notice as possible. Full invitations with all the details are coming later this year. For now: mark the week, tell your boss, and get excited.

When exactly is it?

Where on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka?

We're still locking that in. Once it's booked, it'll go up here and in the invite.

Should I book flights now?

You can. Flights are on sale. The venue's still being locked in, so a flexible or changeable fare is the safe bet. Late September is a great time to be in Sri Lanka.

What's the weather like?

Late September is the tail end of the southwest monsoon, so expect warm (around 28–30°C), humid days and the odd shower. Nothing like peak monsoon. Pack light, breathable clothes.

Do I need a visa?

Most passports need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before you land in Sri Lanka. You apply online at eta.gov.lk. It's pretty painless, but sort it well before you fly.
